Mayor Cook Visits La Posada Home

Mayor Cook, “cooked” for the clients of La Posada Home and spent time with them. Mayor Cook also conversed with the women of La Posada Home and played with the children. “This is just tentative, I do not mind if you change all of it and the subsequent stories,” said Mayor Cook.

20th Anniversary Gala Event A Huge Success

La Posada home celebrated its 20th year anniversary. Special guests included Judge Oscar Gavaldon, author Reyna Grande and women's advocate Denise Brown.

Internationally Known Artist Visits La Posada Home

Paulina Rubio visited and spent quality time with the clients of La Posada Home. This brought international attention to the shelter and the services it provides. Paulina's visit was reported in the Mexican television programs “El Gordo y La Flaca”, “Primer Impacto”, “Escandalo”, Univision's web site and Mexican newspaper, “Record”.

La Posada Home, Inc. would like to announce that the Keynote Speaker for the 20th Anniversary Gala event will be Judge Oscar Gabaldon. The event will take place on September 9th, 2006 at the historic Camino Real Hotel in beautiful downtown El Paso. For more information click here:  events.

La Posada Home, Inc. is gearing up for its 1st Annual Gala Event which will take place on September 9th. The event will benefit La Posada Home and the people it serves.

Sponsors are greatly needed for this event to take place. This will be La Posada Home, Inc.'s first gala event and we would like it to be a successful event so that it can be carried out through the years. Also, it has been confirmed that Estela Casas will be the Mistress of Ceremonies and Reyna Grande will be the main guest speaker for the event.

La posada home is happy to announce that on Thursday, March 16th, comedian Paul Rodriguez will be at the Comic Strip celebrating its 20th anniversary. All the proceeds raised in the first show will be donated to La Posada Home.

La Posada Home would also like to announce its first ever Gala Event to celebrate and honor its 20th anniversary. The 20th Anniversary Gala Event will be held on September 9, 2006 at the Camino Real Hotel.
