September 9th - 20th Anniversary Gala Event
La Posada Home, Inc. will be having its first ever Gala Event. The event is set to take place at El Paso's historic Camino Real Hotel and will benefit La Posada Home, Inc.
and the people that it serves.
News Anchor Estela Casas will be the Mistress of Ceremonies and guest speakers will be author Reyna Grande and women's advocate Denise Brown.
Reyna Grande was born in Guerrero, Mexico in 1975. When she was five years old her father and mother left for the U.S. and left her and her siblings
in care of her grandmother. She entered the U.S. as an illegal immigrant in 1985.

Since Nicole's murder, Denise has dedicated her life to insuring that her sister did not die in vain. Denise is actively involved in many programs and organizations that help others. From radio, television, the Internet,
and entertainment, Denise is using all mediums available to spread her message of non violence and awareness.

Estela Casas was born and raised in El Paso. Her parents were originally from Chihuahua, Mexico. She is the youngest of three siblings, and is a first-generation El Pasoan, with strong community ties.
